I believe Music and Sound Design communicate better when combined – I think of sonic space as a whole entity where all the elements work together towards the same goal. Each project is an opportunity to expand my sonic language and learn from the challenges.

Francisco Rios

Sound Designer – Music Composer

MA in Scoring for Film and Visual Media

Francisco Ríos is a Sound Designer and Film Composer based in Dublin, Ireland who holds a Masters Degree in Scoring for Film and Visual Media from Pulse College, part of the world-renowned Windmill Lane Recording Studios, and a Bachelors Degree in Music Production and Engineering from Fermatta Music Academy in Mexico City, Mexico.
Fran worked for 5 years at DNA Studios and Clandestino Audio in Mexico City as an in-house Sound Designer working on multiple TV series, as well as advertising for TV and radio, and dubbing and mixing for over a dozen Disney series. During this time, he also worked as a freelance Sound Designer and Music Composer for numerous Short and Feature Films, Documentaries, and Apps.
Recently, Francisco has been working as a freelance Sound Designer and Music Composer and has established a substantial international clientele, including Disney, Gobsmacked (Netherlands), Keywords (USA, Mexico, Ireland), Tramontana (Spain), Gorilla Post (Ireland), Aether Entertainment (LA), Anima (Mexico) and more.
